Inspirations

When discussing the look and visual themes that were to be incorporated into the documentary, research on other examples of documentaries relating to tennis were conducted. When viewing the documentaries such “Being Serena” and “the_point”, they both enhance the story through subtitles through music and shots of their faces which enhances the emotion. The interviews that were used for reference were more dramatic and cinematic in certain sections however the goal with the “nada.” documentary was to use subtle effects to enhance emotion and emphasize simple transitions in order to keep the flow of the story intact.
